I ranted, yes, hell I was motivated to. Do I really, really intensly care about Jennifer Anisston (in love with her – well sort of)and am I a hugely devoted fan,(disciple) of hers? – No. No way even. I like her, she is a damn good actress and I think she is pretty at any age but I also think the same about hundreds of other women – some of whom are not famous at all. The big question here is – did YOU have the wear-with-all to read my whole message? Did you HEAR and Learn from what I am saying? Maybe, just maybe to grab attention and hopefully convey an important message I should title my post some thing like “P*nis pancakes at Times Square!” or “Ellen D. eats a bannanna! Footage at 9:00!” Painfully that kind of headline might grab attention (and hits) instead of “Hey – I am a digital artist and EVERYONE gets a full makeover, even in live video PLUS live video “pantyhose” screening, DUH! It seems that whenever I read a blog and or article that reads “due to the fact” the writer does not understand basic grammar. The comment or post should read ” due to” or “the fact is” not “due to the fact”. Unfortunately, the more often a phrase or word is used incorrectly, the word or phrase makes it into the dictionary. A great example of this would be using the word motor. Since I’m a mechanical engineer I’ve seen the change regarding the word “motor. It used to infer electric and the word “engine” was used to describe an internal combustion engine. Now, it means both when looking up “motor” in the dictionary. One more example is the word “preventive”. Many times I have heard or read this word used as “preventative”. This faux pas is probably already in some dictionaries.
